Enjoy this unique event brought to you by Kent Community Rail Partnership.
Join us on a historical and evocative journey through Swale on a Southeastern Javelin High Speed train to commemorate Ambulance Trains used in the First World War.
During WW1 (1914-1918), the naval wounded were brought ashore at Queenborough and Chatham and a rail link extended as far as Scotland. Ambulance trains were designed and built by the rail companies and were specifically used for the transportation and treatment of the wounded.
Join us at Queenborough or Sittingbourne.
